Assessment & Treatment
The decision to seek support can be a daunting one and it is therefore important to find the right person to help you on this journey.
I have a very compassionate approach to offering support. Therefore, my priority as a therapist is to help ease this process by taking great care in providing a safe and comfortable environment where you can explore your difficulties.
The first stage of our work together will include a comprehensive psychological assessment. This is an opportunity for us to explore together, the nature of your difficulty; how it developed, what keeps it going and how therapy can help you move forward. Following this stage, you may then wish to proceed into treatment with strong emphasis on your goals and the changes that you wish to make. I believe that as humans, we all have the potential to make positive changes in our lives and to find our own sense of purpose and meaning.
Towards the end of your therapy, I will work with you to develop a therapy blueprint that will help you maintain the progress that you have made. This will include collating a list of resources that you can refer to after you have completed treatment.
